India > Ranthambore National Park

Twice a day guided excursions, in 4x4 open vehicles, take guests into the core of Ranthambore National Park, which once was the hunting grounds of the Maharajah of Jaipur. In 1955 it was declared a Wildlife sanctuary, due to this a stronger tiger population developed. The heart of the park has excellent viewing opportunities of tigers, leopards, jungle cats, hyenas and sloths. There are over 350 known species of birdlife in the park. Camel safaris can also be arranged.
