My passion for travel, my curiosity to discover new places, traditions and different cultures have led me to love this profession. Travel Consultant for over twenty years is an activity that I carry out with pride and responsibility. I have been lucky enough to know many places near and far and to specialize in Asia and the Middle East. During my professional career I have played various roles related to travel, from its construction to the design of tailor-made itineraries, from accompanying groups to on-site assistance, from direct consulting to that dedicated to partner travel agencies. Dynamic and helpful, I strive to satisfy the client in the smallest details and try to find the best solution according to his expectations. Thanks to my direct knowledge of many destinations, I like to generate curiosity and enthusiasm in the people I have the pleasure to advise.

Born in Africa into a passionate family of italian travelers and raised in Roma, the Eternal City, I am a highly reliable and trustworthy professional with over 30 years in the travel & tourism industry and exceptional skills in product development, negotiation, sales, operations and customer service. I have travelled extensively throughout the world as a destination manager and thanks to my work experiences in international environments I had the opportunity to develop my communication skills together with a creative and open mind with an optimistic view of things that allows me to build positive relationships with people as well as a flexible attitude in reaching a better and easier understanding of their thinking and needs. Fluent in english and spanish, patient, thoughtful, organized, team player, very goal oriented, creative in finding solutions, I love my job and I do it with passion with a unique ability to juggle multiple projects with accuracy and a strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills. As an old saying says “A thousand miles begins with a single step” I can ensure your trip will be a memorable and happy one.

Lively in attitude, joyful and cheerful by nature, with passion for the world, travels, environment and current events I could not but choose a tourism career. My journey started over 30 years ago with first experiences as booking agent in a Travel Agency up to roles of supervisor and co-ordination. My professional path lead me to be a Travel Consultant for the Front Office first and Back Office agent in a Tour Operator thereafter targeting different department such as groups and individuals, incoming and outgoing. I love travel, this, together with the inescapable need connected to my profession, allowed to deepen direct knowledge of most exotic destinations such as Caribbean, Indian Ocean and Africa as well as the closest ones like Tunisie, Turkey, Greece and Mediterranean. 

One of the last trips that Hemingway made to Africa was to the Okawango Delta...after 40 years of professional career in the tourism industry, I finally gave myself the "travel trip" and I retraced through Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe the same itineraries of the writer staying overnight in some of the most evocative and fascinating camps of the Ecoluxury line: a unique and total experience.

I joined the world of travel agencies at the age of 19 in a small provincial agency ,whose family owner passed on to me the passion for this profession and taught me to keep alive the enthusiasm and curiosity in front of each new situation.  Thanks to time and 'experience I was able to realize trips previously only dreamed of, both for myself and for clients , with the satisfaction of creating organized or tailor-made trips that have enriched my journey.

In the “far” 1990 I accidentally entered a travel agency in Bologna, it was one of the best known at the time, and it seemed to me that I was in a world apart, indeed many worlds in one! Intrigued but extremely young and inexperienced I became part of that world, where everyone brought their “experience” of living in the job. Indeed, never considered a job, but a set of emotions that I felt from there to follow started as a receptionist and secretary, over the years I was able to indulge my imagination and not only in group planning by developing customized tour programs from Italy to abroad and with the great opportunity to “touch” with my hand, see and discover what I was writing on a piece of paper! I always considered myself lucky: to be able to travel and “look,” “observe” peoples, customs, colors different from my own by opening my mind to the world!!! The enthusiasm, which has never faded, I hope to have passed on in the 30 years of “craft” to all the people I have met along my way and who I have not considered clients but “companions” to whom I could tell and pass on that curiosity that drove me before facing any destination... Anything is possible!

I am Carlotta, a travel agent by passion. I started traveling when I was 11 years old and haven't stopped since. I always knew what I would do when I grew up, such was the desire to see and learn about the rest of the world. 

From a very young age I wanted to be an airplane pilot, following a family passion for aviation. In 1972, when I was only 6 years old, I finally got on a plane, not to fly it of course, but to fly to Tunisia for an organized tour with my parents. Going to discover the world was my dream. It was not possible for me to become a pilot but, in 1986, after getting my diploma as a tour operator, I choose to start my career in a travel agency, entering the field that would potentially allow me to go and discover our planet. From Europe to Asia, from Africa to the Americas, I have had the opportunity to visit dozens of countries and savor their culture and traditions.  With each trip, I feed on the emotions I feel, the experiences I live by meeting the local people, and the memories I then keep are the most beautiful things one can experience. All of this is what I try to pass on and bring to life to the people who rely on me to make the trip they dream of come true, making it a reality, an emotion and a memorable memory.
