Oman

The Sultanate of Oman is the third largest country in the Arabian Peninsula after Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Land of a thousand and one night, it overlooks the shores of the Arabian Sea and is a mix of mountains, coastal plains and desert that occupies 80% of its territory. The population of only three million inhabitants is mainly concentrated in the northern part of the country. It offers rich and varied landscapes with canyons, oases and fortified villages, while its seabed attracts divers from all over the world. The Musandam Peninsula, a rock tip that branches into the Strait of Hormuz, with coves accessible only by sea, is known as the "fjords of Arabia," where a dhow cruise will allow you to discover the fishing villages and Telegraph Island, home to a 19th-century British repeater. The Sultanate with the OTS Oman Tourism Strategy has embarked on a sustainable tourism model that wants to highlight the country's wealth both in terms of natural scenarios and safeguarding cultural heritage, offering authentic experiences, out of the ordinary.
