Located in the heart of Central Africa, Rwanda is a small country known to be an important refuge for the last colonies of mountain gorillas. Volcanoes National Park is part of the "Virunga Conservation Area," which includes Virunga National Park in Congo and Mgahinga Park in Uganda, three important natural habitats of mountain gorillas and golden monkeys. Rwanda offers several natural beauty such as lakes, volcanoes and forests that make it a paradise for nature lovers and bird watchers. His people, marked by the civil war that rocked him in 1994, are very hospitable and show a great desire for change. Rwanda is now one of the safest countries in Africa and the subject of ambitious sustainability projects such as the Green City Pilot, which aims to transform the northern outskirts of Kigali into an urban eco-tourism park of extreme avant-garde.
