Hidden treasures between Bhutan and Tibet

A never-ending flood of life, one of the world's most extraordinary natural spectacles, an epic of millions of animals crossing the endless plains of the Serengeti in Tanzania and the Masai Mara in Kenya.
Every year, some 1.5 million wildebeest, 250,000 zebras and hundreds of thousands of gazelles, giraffes, elephants and other herbivores embark on a journey of more than 3,000 kilometers, driven by survival instinct and the search for pasture and water.
Guided by seasonal rains, the herds move in synchrony, following an ancestral path laid out by generations of ancestors.
The journey begins in Tanzania's Serengeti National Park, where herds gather in the rainy season.
Crossing raging rivers and braving hungry predators, the herds head north, reaching the Masai Mara in Kenya between the months of July and October.
The Great Migration is a key event for the entire ecosystem.
As they pass, herbivores fertilize the soil by promoting the growth of grasses and plants, which in turn feed other animals.
Predators, such as lions, leopards and hyenas, follow the herds in search of easy prey, maintaining a delicate balance within the savanna.
For travelers, the great migration is an epic moment: observing this natural phenomenon up close and admiring the vastness and power of the wilderness is an unforgettable experience.
