The Spazio Ducrot opened at the end of 2012 in Via D'Ascanio, one of the oldest and most traditional streets in Rome, the operational headquarters of the historic Roman tour operator Viaggi dell'Elefante.
It is a place where, thanks to the contribution of writers, artists, photographers and designers, art and culture coexist and celebrate the exciting and kaleidoscopic world of travel.
Created by Enrico Ducrot, a passionate traveller committed to the realisation of a more sustainable tourism, the space is made up of three elements that dialogue with each other: the two-storey exhibition area, the Traveller's Library, which contains more than 10,000 texts on the theme of travel, and a wide selection of books for sale curated by the Libreria del Viaggiatore.
This place is an elegant combination of tradition and modernity.
The Traveller's Library is a project that combines passion for travel, art, experience: many different and complementary ways of planning, living and remembering.
