Alpine Green Experience is a project born in Aosta Valley in 2019 with the aim of creating a network of tourism operators committed to safeguarding the fragile ecosystem of the Aosta Valley, ‘taken by assault’ by cars due to its proximity to cities and motorway connections.
The idea of Andrea Celesia, an enlightened hotelier who has always been committed to virtuous practices in harmony with the Gran Paradiso National Park Authority, quickly took concrete form in a network of 18 hotels of excellence in Valle d'Aosta, which share the need to apply sustainable mobility to tourism in the region. At the heart of the Alpine Green Experience project, each hotel will offer its guests a BMW i3 electric car, which can be picked up at Turin Caselle Airport, Turin Porta Susa and Porta Nuova Stations, or the Aosta bus terminal. Not only will guests be able to travel ‘cleanly’ to the Valley, but they will also be able to use the electric car for their entire stay, paying only for actual use on a per-kilometre basis.
The Bellevue Hotel & SPA is located in Cogne, in the heart of Valle d'Aosta, a region nestled between the highest mountains in Europe: Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and Gran Paradiso. Nestled in an enchanted valley at the foot of the Gran Paradiso, within the National Park of the same name, the hotel is located on the Sant'Orso plateau, facing a glacier and only 250 metres from the Montzeuc Gondola and Sylvenoire Chairlifts.
The property is a charming complex combining the charm of a historic mountain residence, built in 1925, with the more recently built Foyer wing and three elegant chalets located opposite the main building. All structures are connected by underground passageways and house a total of 39 rooms, each different in type and size. The rooms, furnished with taste and attention to detail, are adorned with collections of paintings, masks, chests and typical local objects, creating an authentic and refined atmosphere. The family management, now in its fifth generation, is synonymous with experience, hospitality and tradition, guaranteeing impeccable service over time.
Guests can enjoy an extensive wellness centre, complete with swimming pools, saunas, grottos and beauty treatments, as well as a spacious fitness room equipped with Technogym equipment and relaxation areas. A particular highlight are the Bellevue's four restaurants, including one Michelin-starred restaurant, which offer unforgettable culinary experiences based on healthy, varied and quality food, an integral part of a wellness holiday. The organic vegetable garden, artisanal cheese production and award-winning wine cellar bear witness to the authenticity and excellence of the hotel, which stands out for its focus on sustainability and the promotion of conscious consumption.
