In co-operation with the New Valley Governorate and the Ministry of Tourism, Al Tarfa runs repetitive training programs to enhance its staff skills and prepare native school graduates for future tourism development in the New Valley region. The hospitality training courses, held at the lodge, are supervised by the Ministry of Tourism. Al Tarfa also focuses on creating and upgrading varied guiding skills for the area.

Al Tarfa Desert Sanctuary

Offering a breathtaking location in Dakhla Oasis, one of the world’s most pristine destinations and can be considered a “home in the Sahara”. The lodge is a distinctive and discrete twenty-room eco-friendly property. Guided walks into the surroundings oasis and deserts, horseback riding and cultural excursions are among several activities offered by Al Tarfa.
