Eve Branson Foundation

Africa | Morocco | Asni

Kasbah du Tamadot works closely alongside The Eve Branson Foundation to improve living standards in the communities around the property. The foundation aims to help the local people by setting up sustainable enterprises like the carpet workshop and the craft house managed by locals. A selection of these handmade items are selled in the Berber Boutique or visiting directly the local craft houses in the neighbouring Berber villages, to see the foundation’s work first hand.

Kasbah Tamadot

The Kasbah Tamadot is a walled structure set on the hills of the High Atlas Mountains, between valleys, forests, snow-capped peaks and Berber villages. Just an hour's drive from Marrakech, this retreat offers genuine Moroccan hospitality and is ideally located for exploration of the mountains by foot. Within the protective walls of the Kasbah is a beautiful garden, containing specimen fruit trees, a collection of cactus and a rose garden. Each of the 28 bedrooms, suites and Berber Tents at Kasbah Tamadot has been individually decorated with traditional Moroccan furnishings and antiques, offering modern comforts. There are six room categories to choos: 2 Superior Rooms, 6 Deluxe Rooms, 4 Superior Suites, 3 Deluxe Suites, 10 Berber Tented Suites (six with private hot tubs) and 1  three bedroom Master Suite. Kasbah Tamadot supports the community selling some of the arts and crafts made by the locals in the Virgin Unite shop.
