OLM Nature Escape is the first energy self-sufficient Eco Aparthotel complex in the entire Alpine region. The project is based on energy self-sufficiency through the application of advanced technologies: from the recovery of water from the artesian well, to energy production with 1,200 photovoltaic panels placed on the roof and 126 geothermal probes that cover 95% of the hotel's entire heat energy needs. The installation of 5 smart charging stations for electric vehicles confirms the commitment to position itself in the market as an ideal facility for Green Power enthusiasts. The design of the building integrates with the landscape, the ecosystem is an active part of the construction, through the organic use of the natural resources present and the preservation of biological diversity. The building in the shape of a circle, provides an even distribution of space, optimizing the use of outdoor common areas (swimming pool, natural pond, Finnish sauna, garden) that were created within the circle, so that there is a natural and peaceful environment all around. It makes natural use of sunlight and shade from the outdoor canopies limiting overheating in the summer months, helping to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
OLM Nature Escape has obtained 'Climate House A Nature' certification, meeting all the requirements set by the Climate House Agency.
