The community hospital, which is about an hour and a quarter away from the resort, including 30 minutes by boat and 45 minutes by cab, has a limited number of beds compared to the population, so the resort has decided to actively cooperate to provide adequate hospital beds and mattresses.
The effort also involves finding a specialized contractor to produce the beds and mattresses. In addition, the resort is contributing with renovations at the reception and outpatient clinic, which is the oldest part of the hospital facility. The necessary materials will be purchased directly from the resort, and some members of the COMO Laucala team will actively participate in the improvement work.
