The San Corrado is one of the first hotels in the Val di Noto area to have adopted sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. All water used in the Resort is recycled. They use it to irrigate their lush gardens. 40% of our total utility usage will be offset by solar panels and the recycling of heat from their kitchen. All products used by the Sodash spa and bath amenities are chemical-free, handcrafted and ethically tested. The organic garden provides many of the products used in the resort's kitchen. They careful represent local traditions respecting taste, health and wellness. Local farmers, beekeepers and fishermen provide products that respect biodiversity, this contributing to reinforce the zero kilometer philosophy of the resort. They aim to reduce food waste as much as possible and to become a plastic-free resort very soon.
