The Palazzetto stands as a virtuous example of sustainability in the island environment of Ponza, where implementing green policies can be challenging. We have taken several measures to reduce our environmental impact: we have minimized the use of disposable products and offer microfiltered water in glass bottles. Most of the energy needed comes from photovoltaic panels, which power both hot water and lighting. We recover rainwater in our restored old cistern, ensuring water autonomy and reducing dependence on external supplies. In our breakfast, we favor zero-mile products and offer a selection of local wines in our bar, thus promoting the enhancement of local products.
Palazzetto Ponza opened its doors in the spring of 2024.
This charming residence of just six rooms, located in Località Santa Maria, is one of the oldest buildings on the island of Ponza. Recently undergoing conservative restoration, the Palazzetto has been faithfully reconstructed based on the original archival photos. The facade brings back the original shades of typical Ponza houses, and in the rooms one can admire the typical "domed" vaults.
