The Zighy Bay Water Initiative System is an outstanding example of environmental responsibility by which the resort creates a self-sufficient water supply. As part of a major effort to reduce the impact generated by the resort on the local area, multiple projects.are in place to reduce energy and plastic use. A composting machine converts 85% of organic waste at the resort to compost for the farm and organic garden from where many products come from.
