The Lodge is built according to bio-building requirements with the "forest" concept of using natural native materials. For the various structures, which are Klimahouse Nature2 certified, natural wood such as untreated spruce and larch and oak for the floors was used. The extensive ultilization of glass allowed optimizing light access and enabling dialogue between interior and exterior. The owners' goal was to create a place that would be part of the landscape and respect the nature of the land, which is now reflected in the various measures taken by the lodge to reduce its environmental impact. To eliminate the use of plastic bottles, drinking water sources are available to fill thermal flasks that can be purchased at the hotel. Since 2021, the lodge has launched a Behind-the-Scenes Tour that allows guests to discover how a "green" facility works and what processes are essential to provide impeccable service.
