Sanctuary Retreats Philanthropy is working to create access to clean drinking water for Maasai students in Kenya. LifeStraw community filters have been provided to eleven Maasai schools. The introduction of this revolutionary filter improves nutrition by preventing loss of vital nutrients due to water-related illness, helps prevent stunted growth and malnutrition in children and contributes to economic development of the community through income saved from avoidance of clinic expenditures.
