Santo Pure Oia Suites & Villas is a pioneer in sustainability in Greece. Since its opening in 2016, the management of the Santo Pure Oia Suites & Villas has been based on a philosophy of adhering to good environmental practices and adopting socially responsible policies. To be increasingly in line with European directives on ecological transition, Santo Pure Oia Suites & Villas launched in September 2021 the "SUSTAINABLE SUPPLIES" initiative, a project that aims to make a group of local producers, already suppliers to Santo Pure Oia Suites & Villas, more sustainable. These are 14 companies specializing in Food & Beverage that will be trained by "Local Food Experts," a social cooperative specializing in creating sustainable supply chains. Participants will undergo a comprehensive training program for 17 months that includes innovative business solutions, good environmental, social and corporate governance practices with the aim of creating more value in the production and supply chain. Santo Pure Oia Suites & Villas will provide the handouts, training procedures and KPIs for each food service sector.
