Kasbah Tamadot

The Kasbah Tamadot is a walled structure set on the hills of the High Atlas Mountains, between valleys, forests, snow-capped peaks and Berber villages. Just an hour's drive from Marrakech, this retreat offers genuine Moroccan hospitality and is ideally located for exploration of the mountains by foot. Within the protective walls of the Kasbah is a beautiful garden, containing specimen fruit trees, a collection of cactus and a rose garden. Each of the 28 bedrooms, suites and Berber Tents at Kasbah Tamadot has been individually decorated with traditional Moroccan furnishings and antiques, offering modern comforts. There are six room categories to choos: 2 Superior Rooms, 6 Deluxe Rooms, 4 Superior Suites, 3 Deluxe Suites, 10 Berber Tented Suites (six with private hot tubs) and 1 three bedroom Master Suite. Kasbah Tamadot supports the community selling some of the arts and crafts made by the locals in the Virgin Unite shop.

Superior Room

Deluxe Room

Superior Suite

Superior Suites are typically larger in size than the Deluxe Rooms, all with a p ... rivate balcony or terrace. Our Superior Suites have a sitting area with a roll away bed for 1 child. There is also one Superior Suite with 2 bedrooms, perfect for families, located near the main building.This spacious suite has a open sitting area off the main bedroom and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom interconnects by the main sitting area and shared the main bedrooms

Deluxe Suite

Deluxe Suites occupy the premium locations for views of the valley and Atlas Mou ... ntains. Larger in size and with a sitting room where a roll away bed for 1 child can be accomodated. One Deluxe Suite is located on the ground floor of the Master Suite and has its own private pool with a large terrace, sun loungers, table and chairs. With a separate living room, this room can be booked separately within 2 months prior to arrival.

Berber Tented Suite

4 Berber Tended Suites have a king-size bed, large bathtubs, a terrace, sun loun ... gers and outdoor dining space. They are not suitable for children aged 11 and under. 6 Berber Tented Suites have a king-size bed, large bathtubs a terrace with private hot tub, sun loungers and outdoor dining.

Master Suite (3 bedrooms)

The Master Suite is a miniature version of the Kasbah rich in architectural offe ... rs complete privacy. With three bedrooms is ideal for families. Deluxe Room and a Deluxe Suite at the lower level are interconnected. They have a private pool. On the upper floor is a compact Superior Room with a huge roof terrace.

Kanoun Restaurant

With an intimate fireside bar for pre-dinner cocktails and a stunning dining are ... a complete with wonderful views, Kanoun restaurant serves delicious local and international cuisine. Kanoun is open for casual lunch, dinners on request can be arranged by the pool or on the terrace. Breakfast is always included and is served on the terrace next to the pool bar (weather permitting). Traditional Berber feasts family and multiple course tasting menus are available. Local Moroccan wines are reccomended.

Asounfou Spa

At Kasbah Tamadot’s spa, Asounfou, a Hammam is combined with a full body Moroc ... can massage to achieve maximum relaxation. A Hammam is part of day-to-day life in Morocco, and it’s believed that the ritual’s heat properties are healing and rejuvenating, as well as providing time to de-stress. Hot bath with a few drops of rose oil can be a calming way to end the day. “Asounfou” is the Berber word meaning relaxation offers many signature treatments.

Swimming Pool Complex

Kasbah Tamadot has a pool complex overlooking beautiful landscape from the upper ... terrace usually served as a bar, and down to the infinity pool, reflecting the sky and mountains. There are loungers and a large hot tub. Heated indoor pool, gym and tennis courts are also available.

TREKKING

Trekking & Mule Riding

There are wonderful 3 level treks available from Kasbah Tamadot: easy, moderate or challenging. They ... can be a simple 2-3 hour walk in the hills or a full day trek with picnic lunch included. Overnight stay in a Berber Village can arranged. Mule ride trekking starts from Imlil and walks up to Armed, a village 2000m high. Guide and a family style lunch are included.
