Wilderness Damaraland Camp is located in the Huab River Valley, one of the most beautiful areas in Namibia, with endless vistas, ancient valleys and a stunning backdrop of ochre-purple mountains.
The lodge, a collaboration between Wilderness and the community-run Torra Conservancy, consists of ten thatched cottages raised off the ground and with a terrace from which to contemplate the desert.
The central area of the lodge includes a dining area and swimming pool. The stay includes hiking and nature walks and exploring the geological and anthropological wonders of the area, including some evidence of ancient rock art. Quiet evenings around the campfire and a clear night sky allow for superlative stargazing.
