Su Gologone Experience Hotel, is located in Oliena in the beautiful Barbagia, a rugged and surprising land of Sardinia with the sea just a few tens of kilometres away. The hotel, with a strong culinary tradition, offers pleasant surprises in an unexpected environment, steeped in Sardinian art and traditions, where nature reigns supreme. Founded as a restaurant in 1967, it has handed down from generation to generation its love of the territory through its gastronomic offerings and 68 rooms that represent true experiences in Sardinian art, culture and hospitality. Embellished by the artistic originality of Giovanna Palimodde, Peppeddu's daughter who founded the restaurant, the rooms are different from each other and alternate in a succession of indoor and outdoor spaces that are redecorated every year. The hotel is set in a 10-hectare private park, surrounded by oleander forests and Mediterranean maquis. It has 2 restaurants serving authentic and exquisite Sardinian cuisine, 3 bars, all special, including the Magical Tablao for unforgettable aperitifs among white rocks, coloured cushions and juniper trunks. From May to September, Su Gologone provides outdoor experiential dinners with tastings of local gastronomic specialties and where ancient techniques of baking breads and spit-roasting meats are re-enacted with staff in typical Oliena costumes. The facility is completed by the Wellness & Fitness Center, a large swimming pool, tennis and miniature golf courses, and two beautiful terraces, the Terrace of Desires and the Terrace of Dreams, where guests can experience moments of great relaxation and pleasant evenings under the stars.The 6 Art Workshops, housed in the old stables, collect the best of the production of local artists and craftsmen. They are true didactic laboratories of design, ceramics, painting and embroidery where it is possible to take courses and buy 'Su Gologone Style' creations such as typical shawls, finely embroidered fabrics, iron and wooden objects and original ceramics. Art Studio Suite

This is Su Gologone's most exclusive suite, carved out of the former creative st ... udio of hotel owner Giovanna Palimodde. Lively furnished, the suite consists of a double bedroom and a living area with a sofa bed. The suite also includes a creative area with everything you need to paint and be inspired by the surrounding atmosphere. The bathroom features a large shower and three sinks, one of which is used for cleaning brushes. The large private garden has outdoor bed and bathtub.

Experience Suite

Consisting of multiple indoor and outdoor spaces, they are innovatively furnishe ... d in wood, with masonry beds and decorated with elements reminiscent of Sardinian Barbagia art. They feature a sleeping area with a double bed, a living area with a sofa bed, and a large terrace with an outdoor sitting area and outdoor bathtub.

Suite Colores

They are comfortable open space suites, some with the sitting area separate from ... the sleeping area. They have 2 single beds or a double bed and a large bathroom with bathtub or shower. All have private terraces with jacuzzi.

Art Suite

They are suites different from each other consisting of one room or two separate ... rooms with a twin or double bedroom, sitting room and a large terrace. The bathroom has a bathtub or shower with whirlpool with sauna. Some suites have a fireplace in the living area.

Art Junior Suite

They are junior suites different from each other, named after great 20th century ... Sardinian artists such as Fedrico Melis, Giuseppe Biasi, and Edina Altara. They consist of a large double or twin bedroom and a sitting area. Furnished with period furniture and decorated with precious embroideries made by skilled artisans from Oliena. They all have a balcony or terrace and bathroom with shower or Jacuzzi.

Deluxe & Deluxe Emotion

Deluxe rooms are elegant rooms with a sleeping area and a living area with a sof ... a bed. They have a large bathroom with shower and balcony. Furnished with traditional Sardinian-style furniture and decorated in bright colors, some have four-poster, iron or wooden beds. De Luxe Emotion rooms have a Jacuzzi tub outside and can accommodate 2 people.

Classic

These are small cozy rooms with a large bathroom with shower, some with balconie ... s. Furnished in Sardinian style, they feature a double bed or two single beds and can accommodate 2 people.

Il Ristorante Tipico

This is the hotel's main restaurant with an à la carte menu. It offers classic ... Barbagia dishes with mostly 0-km products. A large fireplace and the colours of the carefully set tables make the gastronomic experience even more authentic. It is possible to buy typical Sardinian food and wine products and various kitchen utensils made by local artisans in the shop next to the restaurant.

Experiental Restaurants

Dinner in the Bread Nest includes a bread-making demonstration of different types of bread and a tasting of different bread specialties. Dinner in the De Su Re Court reintroduces ancient spit-roasted meat cooking techniques and exceptional food and wine. Dinner in the Garden offers vegetarian dishes based on 0 km products.
