A tour to discover the most evocative aspects of Australian nature and culture, starting with the magic of Kangaroo Island and the Aboriginal authenticity of the Red Centre and Uluru, the great monolith, the true heart of Aboriginal Australia, and then visiting the fascinating Melbourne, a young and fashionable city with a mixture of futuristic and Victorian architecture, and Sydney, a multi-ethnic city with a unique style and soul, home to the spectacular Opera House. The tour concludes at Mossman Gorge, a pleasant riverside location on the edge of the oldest rainforest in the World Heritage-listed Daintree National Park, where you can experience indigenous culture.

Tour itinerary

Day 1, Adelaide

Arrival in Adelaide and transfer to hotel.

Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 2, Adelaide - Kangaroo Island

In the morning transfer to the airport and flight to Kangaroo Island.

Upon arrival, meet your guide and depart in a 4x4 minibus to explore the island's stunning scenery. Kangaroo Island retains an unspoilt natural environment and offers the opportunity to encounter typical Australian wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, emus, seals and numerous species of wild flowers and plants. A walk on the beach at Seal Bay will allow close observation of sea lions resting in the fine sand dunes and playing in the ocean waves.

Lunch is served in the unspoilt nature of the island where, while walking among centuries-old eucalyptus trees, you can admire some of the 200 species of birds that inhabit the island.

End of the tour and accommodation in the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 3, Kangaroo Island - Adelaide - Melbourne

Transfer to the airport for return flight to Adelaide from where you will continue on to Melbourne.

Upon arrival transfer to hotel; rest of afternoon at leisure. Overnight.

 

Day 4, Melbourne

Day at leisure for optional excursions.

A visit to the Great Ocean Road, one of the most spectacular coastal roads in the world, is recommended.

Day 5, Melbourne

Morning dedicated to sightseeing: St. Patrick Cathedral, Albert Park Lake, St. Kilda Beach and the ‘Eureka Skydeck 88’.

Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 6, Melbourne - Sydney

Transfer to the airport and flight to Sydney. On arrival transfer to hotel.

Rest of day at leisure for individual activities and relaxation. Overnight stay.

Day 7, Sydney

Day at leisure for optional excursions.

We recommend a visit to the Blue Mountains, one of Australia's most famous wilderness areas and a UNESCO World Heritage-listed National Park, which covers millions of hectares and includes forests, canyons, waterfalls and beautiful natural scenery

Day 8, Sydney

The morning is dedicated to visiting this beautiful city, one of the most multi-ethnic and exciting metropolises in the world. We pass through the elegant eastern districts before arriving at the famous Watson and Bondi bays.

Cruise into the bay with lunch on board; afterwards, rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 9, Sydney - Ayers Rock

Early morning transfer to the airport for the direct flight to Ayers Rock. Arrival and transfer to the Longitude 131 Resort.

Dinner can be enjoyed at the Dune House, the hotel's main restaurant, or under the spectacular starry desert sky at the Table 131 Restaurant. Overnight.

Day 10, Ayers Rock

Day dedicated to a visit to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park where you will discover an immense landscape of nature and Aboriginal culture, an interesting opportunity to get in touch with the ancient traditions of the first inhabitants of the ‘Terra Australis’.

Overnight stay at the resort.

Day 11 - Ayers Rock - Cairns - Mossman Gorge

Transfer to the airport and flight to Cairns. Upon arrival transfer to the lodge, located near Mossman Gorge, where you can come into contact with indigenous culture. Rest of the day free. Overnight.

From day 11 to day 13, Mossman Gorge

Days at leisure for optional excursions. Numerous activities are offered by the lodge: hiking along the trails, swimming in the river, rowing boat and canoe trips, snorkelling, cycling, guided bird-watching walks and yoga by the river.

A trip to the World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef, which in a turquoise ocean between deserted atolls and islets colonised by birds, enchants with its colours, is also recommended.

Day 14, Mossman Gorge - Cairns

Transfer to Cairns Airport. End of services.
